China Southern Airlines will resume flights between Shanghai Pudong and Nagoya Chubu from December 20, 2024. The route will operate daily as follows:
- CZ8103 / Shanghai Pudong – Nagoya Chubu / 3:05PM – 6:35PM
- CZ8104 / Nagoya Chubu – Shanghai Pudong / 7:35PM – 9:40PM
The airline will operate the route using Airbus A321 aircraft with 179 seats including 12 in business and 167 in economy class.
Multiple airlines including JAL, Air China, China Eastern, Shanghai Airlines, Juneyao Air, and Spring Airlines already operate the route.
China Southern used to operate the route three times a week until February 2020 when it suspended it due to the pandemic. Currently, the airline serves Nagoya Chubu out of Dalian and Shenyang and has plans to resume flights from Guangzhou on the same day it will resume the Shanghai route. Prior to the pandemic, it also flew to Nagoya from Changchun, Changsha, and Wuhan.
