Toki Air is a Niigata-based ATR operator.

Toki Air is planning to launch its third route, Niigata – Nagoya Chubu, on September 27, 2024, Niigata Sogo Television reported on September 10, 2024, citing sources familiar with the matter.

According to the report, the airline is currently coordinating the launch with the government and initially plans to operate the route twice a day on four days of the week including Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Further details of the route have not been revealed yet.

While the airline planned to operate a training flight from its base in Niigata to Nagoya in mid-August 2024, the flight was postponed indefinitely and has not operated yet.

Toki Air launched operations after numerous delays on January 31, 2024, offering eight weekly flights between Niigata and Sapporo across four days of the week. It added 10 weekly flights to Sendai spread across five days of the week from April 26, 2024. Both of the routes were turned double daily from mid-July 2024. In the future, it is also planning to operate Niigata – Kobe and flights to Sado Island.

The airline currently operates a pair of ATR 72s. Its next aircraft, an ATR 42, rolled out of the factory in Toulouse earlier this year.
