Toki Air currently operates a pair of ATR 72s.

On June 20, 2024, Niigata-based start-up airline Toki Air announced it will increase the frequencies of Niigata – Sapporo Okadama and Niigata – Sendai to double daily from July 12, 2024. Tickets for the new frequencies will be available for purchase from June 21, 2024.

Sapporo Okadama was Toki Air’s first destination. When the airline launched operations on January 31, 2024, it started with eight weekly rotations, two on four days of the week. From April 3, 2024, it added two rotations on one more day of the week for a total of 10 weekly rotations. Once two rotations are added on Tuesdays and Thursdays each, the route will be operated every day as follows:

  • BV101 / Niigata – Sapporo Okadama / 10:10AM – 11:45AM
  • BV103 / Niigata – Sapporo Okadama / 2:30PM – 4:05PM
  • BV102 / Sapporo Okadama – Niigata / 12:15PM – 2:00PM
  • BV104 / Sapporo Okadama – Niigata / 4:35PM – 6:20PM

Sendai, Toki Air’s only other destination, was launched on April 26, 2024. The route has been operated 10 times a week (twice every day of the week except for Tuesdays and Thursdays) since launch. From July 12, 2024, it will operate every day as follows:

  • BV201 / Niigata – Sendai / 7:35AM – 8:20AM
  • BV203 / Niigata – Sendai / 6:50PM – 7:35PM
  • BV202 / Sendai – Niigata / 8:50AM – 9:40AM
  • BV202 / Sendai – Niigata / 8:05PM – 8:55PM

Toki Air will continue to use the sole aircraft type in its fleet, the ATR 72 with 72 seats, on the route.

While the airline has not outlined any clear timeline for future route launches, it is eyeing Nagoya and Kobe as its next destinations. That said, in September 2024, it plans to take delivery of its third aircraft, which will be its first ATR 42-600.
