Eastar Jet to launch Busan – Kumamoto and Naha in mid-December 2024

Eastar Jet currently does not operate any Busan – Japan routes.

Eastar Jet will launch flights from Busan to Kumamoto and Naha on December 19, 2024. Both of the routes will be operated daily.

The Kumamoto route will operate as follows:

  • ZE967 / Busan – Kumamoto / 11:55AM – 1:25PM
  • ZE968 / Kumamoto – Busan / 2:30PM – 3:55PM

The Naha route will operate as follows:

  • ZE963 / Busan – Naha / 7:30AM – 9:40AM
  • ZE964 / Naha – Busan / 10:40AM – 1:00PM

Both routes will be operated by Boeing 737s (-800s or -8s) with 189 seats, all in economy class.

While T’Way serves the Japanese city from Seoul, Eastar Jet will be the first airline to fly between Busan and Kumamoto. The route will be the airline’s first to Kumamoto as well.

Busan – Naha, on the other hand, is already served by Jin Air daily. Naha also already has a daily Eastar Jet service from Seoul Incheon.

In addition to Naha, Eastar Jet also currently serves Tokyo Narita, Osaka Kansai, Fukuoka, and Sapporo New Chitose from Seoul Incheon, and is also eyeing launching Seoul Incheon – Tokushima.
