China Southern Airlines will increase the frequency of its Guangzhou – Tokyo Narita route from the current three weekly to daily flights between September 20, 2024, and the end of the 2024 summer schedule (October 26, 2024).
Combined with its two daily Guangzhou – Haneda flights, the airline will connect the Chinese city with Tokyo three times a day during that period as follows (with the exact departure and arrival times varying slightly depending on the day of the week):
- CZ8101 / Guangzhou – Tokyo Narita / 8:00AM – 1:20PM
- CZ385 / Guangzhou – Tokyo Haneda / 9:05AM – 2:20PM
- CZ3085 / Guangzhou – Tokyo Haneda / 2:40PM – 7:45PM
- CZ3086 / Tokyo Haneda – Guangzhou / 10:45AM – 2:25PM
- CZ8102 / Tokyo Narita – Guangzhou / 2:20PM – 6:25PM
- CZ386 / Tokyo Haneda – Guangzhou / 3:40PM – 7:25PM
China Southern will continue to use Airbus A320-200s with 152 seats including eight in business and 144 in economy on the flights to Narita. The two Haneda flights will continue to be operated using A321neos and Boeing 787-9s, respectively.
In addition to the Chinese airline, both JAL and ANA fly daily between Haneda and Guangzhou using a mix of 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft.
Separately from Guangzhou, China Southern also serves Narita out of Changchun, Dalian, Harbin, Shanghai Pudong, and Shenyang, and has plans to resume flights from Zhengzhou and Wuhan in late September 2024. It also flies between Beijing Daxing and Haneda.
