China Southern Airlines will resume flights between Wuhan and Tokyo Narita on September 30, 2024. The flights will operate once a week as follows:

  • CZ8363 / Wuhan – Tokyo Narita / 8:05AM – 1:05PM / Mon
  • CZ8364 / Tokyo Narita – Wuhan / 2:05PM – 5:30PM / Mon

The airline will operate the flights using Boeing 737-800s with 178 seats including four in business and 174 in economy class.

While China Southern operated the route in the past, it suspended it due to the pandemic. The airline’s Monday service will complement existing China Eastern Airlines’ three weekly flights operated each Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Wuhan will be the eight Chinese city with China Southern service to Tokyo. The airline plans to launch flights from Zhengzhou to Narita earlier in the month and already serves the airport from Changchun, Dalian, Guangzhou , Harbin, Shanghai Pudong, and Shenyang. It also offers flights to Haneda from Beijing Daxing.
