Starlux plans Taichung – Naha launch in early December 2024

Starlux plans to use the A321neo on the Taichung – Naha route.

Starlux Airlines filed schedule for four weekly flights between Taichung and Naha starting from December 2, 2024, AeroRoutes reported on August 2024.

According to the report, the flights, which are not available for booking yet, will operate as follows:

  • JX302 / Taichung – Naha / 12:30PM – 3:00PM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat
  • JX303 / Naha – Taichung / 4:00PM – 4:50PM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat

The flights are scheduled to be operated by Airbus A321neo aircraft equipped with 188 seats including eight in business and 180 in economy class.

Starlux Airlines already serves Naha out of Taipei Taoyuan. The new route from Taichung comes amid the airline’s upcoming expansion in Japan, which also includes the upgauging of its flights from Taipei to Sendai, Fukuoka, and Kumamoto from the A321neo to the A330neo.

There is currently no non-stop service between Naha and Taichung.
