Qatar Airways will temporarily reduce the frequency of its Doha – Osaka Kansai route from the current daily to five weekly between January 15 and February 15, 2025. After that, the flights are scheduled to be operated daily again.

During the period with reduced schedule, the flights will operate as follows:

  • QR802 / Doha – Osaka Kansai / 1:10AM – 4:15PM / Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun
  • QR803 / Osaka Kansai – Doha / 5:45PM – 11:40PM / Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun

Qatar Airways will continue to use its 283-seater Airbus A350-900s with 36 QSuites in business class and 247 economy class seats on the route. Until the end of January 2025, it will also provide free bus transfer between Osaka Kansai and Nagoya to eligible passengers.

It relaunched the route this May after an eight year pause. In addition to Osaka, Qatar Airways serves Tokyo Narita daily and has plans to increase the route to 11 weekly from mid-February 2025. In the past it also served Tokyo Haneda daily but was replaced on that route by its oneworld partner JAL.
