Jin Air will be the only airline to offer scheduled non-stop Muan – Tokyo flights.

Jin Air will launch daily flights between Muan and Tokyo Narita on December 2, 2024. The route will operate daily as follows:

  • LJ227 / Muan – Tokyo Narita / 5:00PM – 7:00PM
  • LJ228 / Tokyo Narita – Muan / 8:00PM – 10:20PM

The airline plans to operate the route using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which it operates in two single-class configurations: one with 183 and the other with 189 economy class seats.

Currently, there are no non-stop flights between the two cities. That said, Japan – Muan connectivity will improve significantly in early December 2024, as Jin Air also plans to launch daily flights from Muan to Osaka and Jeju Air three weekly flights to Nagasaki.

Muan will be the third South Korean city that Jin Air will connect with Tokyo Narita. Currently it serves the airport from Seoul (up to five times a day) and Busan (twice a day).
