Jin Air appears to be set to launch daily flights between Muan and Osaka Kansai on December 2, 2024. While currently all listed as sold out, the flights have been added to the airline’s website as follows:

  • LJ257 / Muan – Osaka Kansai / 8:25AM – 9:55AM
  • LJ258 / Osaka Kansai – Muan / 10:55AM – 12:35PM

The airline plans to use Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which it operates in two different single-class configurations (183 and 189 economy class seats), on the route.

Should the route launch as filed, Jin Air will become the only airline offering non-stop flights between the two cities. It already offers five daily flights to Osaka Kansai from Seoul and one daily flight from Busan.

Connectivity between Japan and Muan is set to improve significantly in early December 2024 since Jin Air also plans to add daily flights from the South Korean city to Tokyo Narita and Jeju Air three weekly flights to Nagasaki.
