
From January 26, 2025, HK Express will increase the frequency of its Hong Kong – Tokyo Narita route from the current five daily rotations to six. Combined with its existing three flights to Haneda, it will offer nine daily Tokyo flights.
Once the airline adds a new redeye flight from Hong Kong to Narita, its Tokyo-bound flights will include:

The return segment of the new rotation will depart Narita in the morning, expanding the airline’s offering of Hong Kong-bound flights from Tokyo to:

The new rotation will be operated using Airbus A321neo aircraft equipped with 236 seats, all in economy class. The remaining flights are operated using a mix of the A321neo and the A321ceo, which HK Express operates with 230 economy class seats on board.
In addition to HK Express, Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines, and Greater Bay Airlines offer multiple daily flights between Narita and Hong Kong while ANA and JAL offer one daily rotation each. ANA, JAL, and Cathay Pacific also fly between Haneda and Hong Kong.
HK Express is in the process of expanding its Japan network, which currently includes Osaka Kansai, Nagoya Chubu, Takamatsu, Fukuoka, and Naha alongside the two Tokyo airports. In addition to capacity increases, it plans to launch Shizuoka in December 2024 and Sendai in January 2025.
