HK Express to launch Hong Kong – Shizuoka in mid-December 2024

HK Express will launch flights between Hong Kong and Shizuoka on December 17, 2024. From then on, the route will operate three times a week as follows:

  • UO894 / Hong Kong – Shizuoka / 9:15PM1 – 1:45PM / Tue, Thu, Sat
  • UO865 / Shizuoka – Hong Kong / 2:45PM – 6:40PM / Tue, Thu
  • UO845 / Shizuoka – Hong Kong / 2:45PM – 7:00PM / Sat

1 Scheduled to depart at 8:55AM on Saturdays.

HK Express, which will be the first airline to offer non-stop flights between the two cities, will operate the route using its single-class Airbus A320neo aircraft equipped with 188 economy class seats.

Existing HK Express destinations in Japan include Tokyo Haneda and Narita, Osaka Kansai, Nagoya Chubu, Takamatsu (to be increased to daily from November 2024), Fukuoka, and Naha. The airline is also planning to resume Hong Kong – Hiroshima in November 2024 and launch Hong Kong – Sendai in January 2025.
