HK Express to resume Hong Kong – Hiroshima in November 2024

Hiroshima will be HK Express’s eight destination in Japan.

HK Express will resume its Hong Kong – Hiroshima route on November 1, 2024, the airline announced on August 29, 2024. From then on, the flights will operate three times a week as follows:

  • UO822 / Hong Kong – Hiroshima / 9:15AM – 1:30PM / Mon, Wed, Fri
  • UO823 / Hiroshima – Hong Kong / 2:40PM – 6:00PM / Mon, Wed, Fri

The airline will fly to Hiroshima using Airbus A320neo aircraft with 188 seats, all in economy class.

Currently, there are no non-stop Hiroshima – Hong Kong flights. While HK Express launched the route on October 27, 2015, it has been suspended since the pandemic brought the travel industry to a halt in early 2020.

The airline currently flies to seven destinations in Japan including both Tokyo Haneda and Narita, Osaka Kansai, Nagoya Chubu, Fukuoka, Naha, and Takamatsu. Before the pandemic, it also served Nagasaki, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima.
