On July 18, 2024, Fuji Dream Airlines unveiled its new flight attendant uniforms, created by the acclaimed Japanese fashion designer Junko Koshino. The airline plans to start using the uniforms in September 2024 or later.
“This design, which features our corporate color Dream Red contrasted with charcoal grey, incorporates Junko Koshino’s ‘beauty of opposites’ alongside ‘asymmetry’ favored in Japanese culture,” said the company. Flight attendants will have the option of choosing between a skirt and pants. The uniform will come with a scarf and a collared apron.
The uniforms were announced as the airline, which commenced operations on July 23, 2009, approaches its 15th anniversary. The airline’s current uniforms have been in use for approximately 11 years.
Two Japanese low-cost airlines, Spring Japan and Jetstar Japan, will renew their crew uniforms this year as well.
