Finnair will use its A350-900s on the Nagoya route.

At the end of May 2024, Finnair resumed Helsinki – Nagoya Chubu on a seasonal basis for the first time since suspending the route due to the pandemic. Next summer, it will connect the two cities three to four times a week as opposed to the two weekly flights it operated last summer.

Next summer, starting from March 31, 2025, it will operate the route three times a week with four weekly frequencies between early May and late August:

  • AY79 / Helsinki – Nagoya Chubu / 12:45AM – 7:35PM / Mon, Wed1, Thu, Sun
  • AY80 / Nagoya Chubu – Helsinki / 10:50PM – 5:55AM+1 / Mon, Wed1, Thu, Sun

1 Rotation operating between May 5 and August 31, 2025.

Finnair will use its premium-heavy Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 278 seats including 43 in business, 24 in premium economy, and 211 in economy class on the route, which no other airline serves.

In addition to Nagoya, Finnair will also continue to serve Tokyo Haneda daily, Tokyo Narita daily (up from six weekly during 2024 schedule), and Osaka Kansai daily (up from five weekly during 2024 summer schedule) next summer.
