Starting from March 30, 2025, Finnair will increase the frequency of its Helsinki – Osaka Kansai flights to daily. During the 2024 winter schedule, i.e. from October 27, 2024, to March 30, 2025, the airline will operate the route three times a week instead of the current five.

Once service is increased, the route will operate as follows:

  • AY67 / Helsinki – Osaka Kansai / 5:45PM – 12:35PM+1
  • AY68 / Osaka Kansai – Helsinki / 10:25PM – 5:30AM+1

Finnair will continue to operate the route using its higher-density Airbus A350-900s equipped with a total of 321 seats including 30 in business, 26 in premium economy, and 265 in economny class.

While Finnair is the only airline connecting Osaka with Helsinki, Air France, KLM, and Lufthansa provide alternative non-stop connections from Osaka to Europe, to Paris, Amsterdam, and Munich, respectively.
