EVA Air plans to resume Taipei – Aomori scheduled service from late October 2024

EVA Air will use the A321 on its flights to Aomori.

On October 29, 2024, EVA Air will resume scheduled service between Taipei Taoyuan and Aomori. During the 2024 winter schedule, i.e., until March 29, 2025, the flights will operate three times a week as follows:

  • BR122 / Taipei Taoyuan – Aomori / 10:00AM – 2:30PM / Tue, Thu, Sat
  • BR121 / Aomori – Taipei Taoyuan / 3:30PM – 7:00PM / Tue, Thu, Sat

The flights will be operated using Airbus A321 aircraft equipped with 184 seats including eight in business and 176 in economy class.

EVA Air operated five weekly scheduled flights on the route until the end of February 2020, when they were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the airline connected Taipei and Aomori with half a dozen charters, the upcoming resumption will be the first time for the route to be operated on a scheduled basis since the COVID-19-related suspension.

Aomori will be EVA Air’s tenth destination in Japan. The airline also serves Fukuoka, Komatsu, Matsuyama (resumed in March 2024 and to be expanded in October 2024), Naha, Osaka Kansai, Sapporo New Chitose, Sendai, Tokyo Haneda, and Tokyo Narita. Nagoya Chubu is the one notable destination that the airline has not yet resumed service to since the end of the pandemic.
