EVA Air A321
EVA Air uses Airbus A321-200 aircraft on its flights to Matsuyama.

EVA Air will add an extra weekly flight between Taipei Taoyuan and Matsuyama from October 31, 2024. With that, the airline will operate three flights per week on the route as follows:

  • BR110 / Taipei Taoyuan – Matsuyama / 6:25AM – 9:45AM / Wed, Thu*, Sun
  • BR109 / Matsuyama – Taipei Taoyuan / 11:05AM – 12:55PM / Wed, Thu*, Sun

* New frequency to be operated from October 31, 2024.

EVA Air will continue to use Airbus A321ceo aircraft with 184 seats including eight in business and 176 in economy class on the route.

The airline started flying between the two cities in July 2019 before suspending the route due to the pandemic. The route was resumed on March 6, 2024, and has been operating twice a week since then (with the exception of the cherry blossom season when there were four weekly roundtrips). EVA Air is the only airline flying between Taipei and Matsuyama.

EVA Air’s other destinations in Japan include Fukuoka, Komatsu, Naha, Osaka Kansai, Sapporo New Chitose, Sendai, Tokyo Haneda, and Tokyo Narita, while other international destinations served out of Matsuyama include Seoul Incheon (Jeju Air) and Busan (Air Busan). China Eastern has not resumed flights to Shanghai, which were suspended due to the pandemic, yet.
