China Eastern will operate the new route using Boeing 737s.

China Eastern Airlines will launch flights between Wuhan and Osaka Kansai on October 27, 2024. The route will operate daily as follows:

  • MU2575 / Wuhan – Osaka Kansai / 8:20AM – 12:10PM
  • MU2576 / Osaka Kansai – Wuhan / 1:10PM – 4:10PM

The airline will use Boeing 737s of unspecified variant on the flights. It operates the 737-700, 737-800, and 737-8, equipped with between 134 and 176 seats including up to 20 in business class depending on the configuration.

No airline currently offers Osaka Kansai – Wuhan flights.

China Eastern already flies non-stop to Osaka Kansai from Beijing, Shanghai, Hefei, and Ningbo. The Hefei – Osaka and Ningbo – Osaka routes were both resumed in July 2024, the former one after a more than ten-year hiatus and the latter after being suspended when the pandemic brought the travel industry to a halt.
