Starting from April 5, 2025, Batik Air Malaysia will increase the frequency of its one-stop Kuala Lumpur – Naha via Taipei Taoyuan route from the current four weekly to five. The airline will add Saturday flights and operate the route as follows:
- OD882 / Kuala Lumpur – Taipei Taoyuan / 7:20AM – 12:20PM / Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat1, Sun
- OD882 / Taipei Taoyuan – Naha / 1:20PM – 3:50PM / Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat1, Sun
- OD883 / Naha – Taipei Taoyuan / 4:50PM – 5:30PM / Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat1, Sun
- OD883 / Taipei Taoyuan – Kuala Lumpur / 6:30PM – 11:25PM / Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat1, Sun
1 Rotation scheduled to start operating on April 5, 2025.
Batik Air Malaysia will continue to use Boeing 737-8 aircraft with 180 seats, all in economy class, on the route.
Multiple other airlines including China Airlines, EVA Air, Starlux, Peach, Tigerair Taiwan, Thai VietJet, and Thai AirAsia connect Naha with Taipei. No airline offers non-stop Naha – Kuala Lumpur flights.
While Batik Air Malaysia will be increasing its presence in Naha, recently it terminated Kuala Lumpur – Osaka Kansai via Taipei Taoyuan and in February 2025, it plans to terminate Kuala Lumpur – Nagoya Chubu via Taipei Taoyuan.
