Aero K will launch daily flights between Cheongju and Sapporo New Chitose on November 28, 2024. The South Korean low-cost airline will operate the route as follows:
- RF352 / Cheongju – Sapporo New Chitose / 7:50AM – 10:30AM
- RF351 / Sapporo New Chitose – Cheongju / 11:30AM – 2:45PM
The airline will use the sole aircraft type in its fleet, the single-class Airbus A320-200 with 180 economy class seats, on the route.
While multiple airlines operate flights between Sapporo New Chitose and Seoul and Busan, no airline currently offers non-stop Sapporo – Cheongju service.
Sapporo will be Aero K’s third destination in Japan following Tokyo Narita and Osaka Kansai. It serves both from Cheongju and the former also from Seoul. Further, it is set to launch Cheongju – Ibaraki in early December 2024. It also operated Cheongju – Hanamaki and Obihiro charters in the past. At the beginning of this month, it signed an agreement with Sejong City to work toward further expanding Cheongju Airport’s international connectivity.
