ZIPAIR adds extra Tokyo Narita – Vancouver flights in March 2025

ZIPAIR 787-8
Vancouver is ZIPAIR’s only destination in Canada.

ZIPAIR will operate five instead of four weekly flights in March 2025, the company announced on September 20, 2024. While likely, it is not yet clear whether the increased schedule will also continue into the 2025 summer schedule.

For the time being, ZIPAIR will add Tuesday rotations between March 1 and 29, 2025, and operate the route as follows:

  • ZG22 / Tokyo Narita – Vancouver / 4:00PM – 7:40AM / Mon, Tue*, Thu, Sat, Sun
  • ZG21** / Vancouver – Tokyo Narita / 9:40AM – 12:45PM+1 / Mon, Tue*, Thu, Sat, Sun

* New rotation.
** Scheduled departure and arrival times are 15 minutes later than indicated on Saturdays and Sundays.

ZIPAIR, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JAL, currently operates a single-type fleet. Its Boeing 787-8s are equipped with 290 seats including 18 full-flat staggered seats and 272 regular economy class seats.

Air Canada and JAL connect Narita and Vancouver daily alongside ZIPAIR. Additionally, ANA offers daily flights from Tokyo Haneda.

Vancouver, which the airline inaugurated this March, is ZIPAIR’s only destination in Canada. The airline also connects Tokyo Narita with Seoul, Manila, Bangkok, and Singapore in Asia, and Honolulu (to be temporarily suspended between late October 2024 and mid-March 2025), Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Jose in the United States.

In addition to ZIPAIR, both ANA and JAL operate multiple flights a day between Tokyo (both Haneda and Narita) and the popular tourist destination.
