ZIPAIR to increase Tokyo – Bangkok between late January and early March 2025

Bangkok is one of ZIPAIR’s four Asian destinations out of Tokyo Narita.

ZIPAIR will temporarily increase the frequency of its flights between Tokyo Narita and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. Between January 26 and February 28, 2025, in the direction from Japan and a day later in the other direction, the airline will add five weekly flights on top of the existing daily rotation for a total of 13 weekly flights:

  • ZG55 / Tokyo Narita – Bangkok Suvarnabhumi / 2:30PM – 7:45PM / Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sun
  • ZG56 / Bangkok Suvarnabhumi – Tokyo Narita / 7:25AM – 3:10PM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat

ZIPAIR will operate both rotations using Boeing 787-8s. It operates the type with 290 seats on board including 18 full-flat staggered seats and 272 regular economy class seats.

On the Narita – Suvarnabhumi route, ZIPAIR competes with ANA, JAL, and Thai Airways, all three of which also serve the Thai airport from Tokyo Haneda. Additionally, Thai AirAsia X offers flights between Bangkok Don Muang and Narita.

Bangkok is one of ZIPAIR’s four destinations in Asia alongside Seoul Incheon, Manila, and Singapore. The airline also serves Vancouver in Canada and four destinations in the United States. It plans to launch Narita – Houston in March 2025.
