ZIPAIR to launch Tokyo Narita – Houston in early March 2025

Tokyo Narita – Houston will be ZIPAIR’s longest route.

JAL’s low-cost subsidiary ZIPAIR will launch flights between Tokyo Narita and Houston on March 4, 2025. The flights will operate four times a week as follows:

  • ZG16 / Tokyo Narita – Houston / 10:00AM – 6:45AM* / Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun
  • ZG15 / Houston – Tokyo Narita / 8:45AM* – 1:50PM+1 / Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun

* Scheduled to arrive in and depart from Houston one hour later between March 9 and 29, 2025.

ZIPAIR will use the currently sole aircraft type in its fleet, Boeing 787-8, on the route. It operates the aircraft with 290 seats including 18 full-flat staggered seats and 272 regular economy class seats.

The route is already served daily by United Airlines. Additionally, ANA offers daily flights between Tokyo Haneda and Houston.

Houston will be ZIPAIR’s furthest destination and its fifth in the United States; the airline currently serves Honolulu, San Jose, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, all from Tokyo Narita. Additionally, ZIPAIR serves Vancouver in Canada and four destinations within Asia including Seoul Incheon, Manila, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, and Singapore.
