Toki Air finishes first day of operations with average load factor of 61%

On January 31, 2024, the first day of Toki Air’s revenue operations, the airline operated two roundtrips between Niigata and Sapporo Okadama, both using one of its two ATR 72-600s, JA01QQ. While the first flight was nearly full (71 of 72 seats taken), the first flight from Sapporo to Niigata carried just 48 passengers (66.7% load factor). The afternoon rotation had an even lighter load: 28 passengers (38.9%) to Sapporo and 29 passengers (40.2%) to Niigata.
