Toki Air cancels four out of eight flights on second and third day of operation

Niigata-based start-up airline Toki Air offers two roundtrips between Niigata and Sapporo Okadama each Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. That said, the airline which launched operations on January 31, 2024, canceled one flight on its second “flying day” (February 2, 2024) and three flights the day after. On February 2, 2024, its sole currently available ATR 72 (the second one is undergoing maintenance in Taiwan) flew its second daily flight to Sapporo but didn’t return to Niigata, presumably due to trouble with the aircraft. On February 3, 2024, the morning flight to Sapporo and the afternoon rotation were canceled.
