Tigerair plans Taichung – Tokyo and Nagoya scheduled charters in summer 2024

Tigerair Taiwan already offers scheduled flights from Taipei to both Nagoya and Tokyo.

Taiwanese low-cost airline Tigerair Taiwan announced it will operate scheduled charter flights from Taichung to Tokyo Narita and Nagoya Chubu in July and August 2024. The general public can book the flights.

The Tokyo Narita route will operate three times a week between July 2 and August 29, 2024, as follows:

  • IT790 / Taichung – Tokyo Narita / 8:20AM – 12:40PM / Tue, Thu, Sun
  • IT791 / Tokyo Narita – Taichung / 1:40PM – 3:55PM / Tue, Thu, Sun

The Nagoya Chubu route will operate twice a week between July 1 and August 30, 2024, as follows:

  • IT778 / Taichung – Nagoya Chubu / 11:55AM – 3:45PM / Mon, Fri
  • IT779 / Nagoya Chubu – Taichung / 4:45PM – 6:50PM / Mon, Fri

Tigerair Taiwan, nor any other airline, does not currently offer any non-stop flights between Taichung and Japan. That said, the airline connects Taipei Taoyuan with 17 destinations in Japan including major cities like Nagoya, Tokyo, and Osaka, as well as smaller cities like Niigata, Komatsu, and Kochi.

The airline operats a fleet of Airbus A320-200 and A320neo aircraft, each with 180 economy class seats.
