Tianjin Airlines to operate Tianjin – Sapporo between mid-Dec. 2024 and mid-Feb. 2025

On December 20, 2024, Tianjin Airlines will resume flights between Tianjin and Sapporo New Chitose on a seasonal basis. The route, last operated at the end of December 2023, is currently scheduled to operate three times a week until February 19, 2025, as follows:

  • GS7971 / Tianjin – Sapporo New Chitose / 8:00AM – 12:30PM / Wed, Fri, Sun
  • GS7972 / Sapporo New Chitose – Tianjin / 1:45PM – 5:20PM / Wed, Fri, Sun

Tianjin Airlines plans to operate the route using Airbus A320-200s aircraft with 180 seats, all in economy class.

Currently, there are no flights between the two cities. However, a variety of Chinese airlines offers non-stop flights to the city in Hokkaido. Air China flies to Sapporo from Beijing Capital; China Eastern Airlines, Juneyao Air, and Spring Airlines from Shanghai; and Shenzhen Airlines from Shenzhen. Additionally, Capital Airlines plans to launch flights from Beijing Daxing and Hainan Airlines from Xian in late December 2024.
