Beijing Capital Airlines will launch flights between Beijing Daxing and Sapporo New Chitose on December 28, 2024. The route will operate three times a week as follows:

  • JD389 / Beijing Daxing – Sapporo New Chitose / 7:25AM – 12:30PM / Tue, Thu, Sat
  • JD390 / Sapporo New Chitose – Beijing Daxing / 1:35PM – 5:45PM / Tue, Thu, Sat

Capital Airlines will use Airbus A320 aircraft on the route. It operates both the A320-200 (174 seats) and the A320neo (180 seats).

For the time being, the route is available for booking up to the end of the winter schedule. It is unclear whether it will also operate during the summer schedule or, given Sapporo’s popularity as a winter destination, whether it will be a seasonal route.

Capital Airlines will be the second operator to offer flights between Beijing and Sapporo, joining Air China, which offers six weekly flights from Beijing Capital Airport. Other non-stop flights between Sapporo and China include Shanghai (China Eastern Airlines, Juneyao Air, and Spring Airlines) and Shenzhen (Shenzhen Airlines). Hainan Airlines plans to launch flights from Xian on December 27, 2024.
