Thai Lion Air to launch Bangkok – Kaohsiung – Naha in late January 2025

Thai Lion Air will be the third airline to offer non-stop Kaohsiung – Naha flights.

On January 21, 2025, Thai Lion Air will launch one-stop flights from Bangkok Don Mueang to Naha via Kaohsiung. The airline will have fifth freedom rights to transport passengers traveling solely between Kaohsiung and Naha.

Thai Lion Air will operate the route four times a week as follows:

  • SL390 / Bangkok Don Mueang – Kaohsiung / 2:45AM – 7:15AM / Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun
  • SL390 / Kaohsiung – Naha / 8:15AM – 10:55AM / Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun
  • SL391 / Naha – Kaohsiung / 11:50AM – 12:40PM / Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun
  • SL391 / Kaohsiung – Bangkok Don Mueang / 1:40PM – 4:00PM / Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun

The airline plans to use Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 189 seats on board, all in economy class.

Thai Lion Air will be the third airline to offer non-stop flights between Kaohsiung and Naha. Currently, Tigerair Taiwan serves the route daily and China Airlines three times a week. Thai AirAsia offers non-stop flights between Bangkok Don Mueang and Naha four times a week.
