Thai AirAsia operates the Taipei – Naha route using a mix of A320-200s and A320neos.

With the onset of the 2024 winter schedule on October 27, 2024, Thai AirAsia will reduce the frequency of its fifth freedom flights between Taipei Taoyuan and Naha in Okinawa from the current daily to five weekly flights.

The airline will suspend Friday and Sunday rotations and operate the route as follows:

  • FD230 / Taipei Taoyuan – Naha / 1:30PM – 3:55PM / Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat
  • FD231 / Naha – Taipei Taoyuan / 4:55PM – 5:35PM / Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat

Thai AirAsia will continue to operate the route using a mix of Airbus A320ceo and A320neo with 180 and 186 seats, all in economy class, respectively.

The route was launched in June 2024 when the airline extended its existing Bangkok Mueang – Taipei route. Separately, Thai AirAsia is also operating non-stop Don Mueang – Naha service four times a week, which it launched in April 2024.
