Starlux will continue to fly its Airbus A321neos to Takamatsu.

From December 1, 2024, Starlux Airlines will turn its Taichung – Takamatsu charters, which currently operate regularly three times a week but are only available as part of packaged tours offered by Taiwanese tour operators, to regular scheduled flights available for sale to the general public.

The route, first operated on March 31, 2024, will continue to run three times a week, albeit using flight numbers JX300/JX301 instead of JX8300/JX8301:

  • JX300 / Taichung – Takamatsu / 8:50AM – 12:20PM / Wed, Fri, Sun
  • JX301 / Takamatsu – Taichung / 1:20PM – 3:40PM / Wed, Fri, Sun

Starlux will continue to operate the route using Airbus A321neo aircraft with 188 seats including eight in business and 180 in economy class.

Takamatsu is currently the only destination in Japan that Starlux serves from Taichung. That said, a day after turning the Takamatsu route from charter to scheduled, the airline will also launch Taichung – Naha. Additionally, it serves multiple destinations in Japan from its Taipei Taoyuan base.
