Spring Airlines to resume Guangzhou – Osaka Kansai in mid-January 2025

Spring Airlines offers low-cost flights from Osaka to multiple destinations in China.

Spring Airlines will resume flights between Guangzhou and Osaka Kansai on January 11, 2025. The route will operate four times a week as follows:

  • 9C6159 / Guangzhou – Osaka Kansai / 7:40AM – 11:55AM1 / Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun
  • 9C6160 / Osaka Kansai – Guangzhou / 12:55PM2 – 4:35PM / Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun

1 Scheduled to depart at 8:00AM on Sundays.
2 Scheduled to depart at 1:00PM on Thursdays.

Spring Airlines will use all-economy class Airbus A320 aircraft on the route. It operates both A320-200s with between 174 and 186 seats depending on the configuration and A320neos with 186 seats.

Flights departing up to the end of the winter schedule are available for booking. It is unclear whether the route will continue at its current frequency during the 2025 summer schedule.

Currently, China Southern Airlines offers flights between the two cities. From late October 2024, it increased the service from daily to double daily.

Spring Airlines’ existing network to Osaka Kansai includes non-stop flights from Dalian, Ningbo, Shanghai Pudong, Shenyang, and Xian, as well as one-stop flights from Guiyang via Shanghai.
