
Starting from October 27, 2024, China Southern Airlines will increase the frequency of its Guangzhou – Osaka Kansai route from the current nine weekly flights to two daily flights.
The airline will do so by increasing the CZ393/CZ394 rotation from the current two roundtrips per week (Thursdays and Saturdays) to daily. Once service is expanded, China Southern will offer the following flights between the two cities:
- CZ389 / Guangzhou – Osaka Kansai / 8:15AM – 12:45PM
- CZ393* / Guangzhou – Osaka Kansai / 4:20PM – 8:50PM
- CZ394* / Osaka Kansai – Guangzhou / 8:30AM – 12:30PM
- CZ390 / Osaka Kansai – Guangzhou / 2:15PM – 5:50PM
* Rotation to be increased from two to seven weekly flights. The timing of the flights will also be adjusted to depart Guangzhou in the evening and Osaka the following morning.
China Southern will continue to use the Airbus A321neo on the route. It operates the type with 195 seats on board including four in business and 191 in economy class.
No other airline serves the route.
In addition to Guangzhou, China Southern also serves Osaka Kansai out of Beijing Daxing, Dalian, Harbin, Shanghai Pudong, and Shenyang. It plans to increase service on the Beijing route from the start of the 2024 winter schedule too.
