Qingdao Airlines to launch Qingdao – Osaka Kansai in late July 2024

Qingdao Airlines will launch non-stop flights between Qingdao and Osaka Kansai from July 25, 2024, Kansai Airport’s operator announced on July 22, 2024. The airline will connect the cities three times a week as follows:

  • QW9903 / Qingdao – Osaka Kansai / 8:00AM – 11:30AM / Tue, Thu, Sun
  • QW9904 / Osaka Kansai – Qingdao / 12:30PM – 2:30PM / Tue, Thu, Sun

Qindao Airlines will use Airbus A320neo aircraft with 180 seats (all economy class, some “Super Economy” seats with extra legroom) on the route.

Osaka Kansai will be Qingdao Airlines’ first scheduled destination in Japan. In the past, the airline operated charters to Japanese airports including Tokyo Narita, Ibaraki, and Fukuoka.

Qingdao Airlines will offer Qingdao – Osaka Kansai flights alongside Shandong Airlines, which currently operates two daily flights on the route and will increase the frequency to three daily from August 2024.
