Philippine Airlines plans to use Airbus A321-200 aircraft with 199 seats including 12 in business and 187 in economy class on the route.

It will be the second airline to connect Osaka and Cebu. While there are currently no non-stop flights, Cebu Pacific is planning to launch the route on October 15, 2024. Philippine Airlines served the route, alongside Cebu – Tokyo Narita and Nagoya Chubu, until the pandemic brought the travel industry to a halt in 2020. While it already resumed the flights to Narita, the Cebu – Nagoya route has not been resumed yet.

In addition to Cebu, Philippine Airlines will also continue to offer double daily flights between Osaka Kansai and Manila.
