
The Philippine low-cost airline Cebu Pacific will launch non-stop flights between Cebu and Osaka Kansai on October 15, 2024. The flights will operate four times a week as follows:
- 5J5108 / Cebu – Osaka Kansai / 2:25AM – 8:00PM / Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun
- 5J5109* / Osaka Kansai – Cebu / 8:55AM – 12:40PM / Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun
* On Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays between October 15 and 26, 2024, the flight will depart and arrive five minutes later.
Cebu Pacific will use Airbus A320neo aircraft equipped with 188 seats (all economy class) on the route.
Cebu will be the second airport Cebu Pacific will serve Osaka Kansai out of together with Manila, a route it currently operates daily. Multiple other airlines including Philippines Airlines, Jetstar Asia, and Philippines AirAsia also fly between Osaka and the Philippine capital. That said, no airline currently flies between Cebu and Osaka.
The only Japanese airport with non-stop service from Cebu is Tokyo Narita, which has daily flights by both Philippines Airlines and Cebu Pacific. United will operate the route from October 2024 too.
