On July 3, 2024, ANA’s low-cost airline Peach announced it will introduce revised fare types on July 10, 2024. The new fare types will apply to flights departing on October 27, 2024, and later.
The current Simple Peach, Value Peach, and Prime Peach will become Minimum, Standard, and Standard Plus respectively. In addition to the rebrand, the services included with each fare will change slightly.
Unlike the current Simple Peach fare, passengers booking tickets in the new Minimum fare will not be able to choose “Fast Seat” priority seats, even for a fee. They will also be unable to make any changes to their reservations. Lastly, a ticket issuance fee will apply when booking a Minimum fare ticket.
The refund conditions will change with the fare type revamp as well. While Minimum will remain non-refundable and Standard will only be refundable in the form of Peach Points that can be used on future purchases with the airline, Standard Plus fares will be fully refundable to the original form of payment for a 500 yen (3 USD) fee. Passengers will also be able to hold a Standard Plus reservation for up to 24 hours before paying.
On the other hand, the checked baggage allowance included in the fare will decrease from the current two bags for Prime Peach tickets to one bag for Standard Plus tickets.
Peach’s fare type revamp follows the recent fare type revamp of another ANA-owned low-cost airline, AirJapan.
