One of Korean Air’s six daily rotations between Seoul Incheon and Osaka Kansai is a temporary frequency scheduled to operate that was added from September 2, 2024, and is scheduled to operate until October 26, 2024. The airline plans to replace it with a regular scheduled rotation from October 27, 2024, and maintain six daily flights between the two cities.
Once flights KE8727/KE8728 are replaced with the regular KE727/KE728, Korean Air will offer the following six flights between the South Korean capital and Osaka (four from Incheon and two from Gimpo):
- KE2117 / Seoul Gimpo – Osaka Kansai / 8:55AM – 10:45AM
- KE723 / Seoul Incheon – Osaka Kansai / 9:00AM – 10:45AM
- KE727* / Seoul Incheon – Osaka Kansai / 11:55AM – 12:50PM
- KE725 / Seoul Incheon – Osaka Kansai / 3:10PM – 5:00PM
- KE2119 / Seoul Gimpo – Osaka Kansai / 4:55PM – 6:40PM
- KE721 / Seoul Incheon – Osaka Kansai / 7:00PM – 9:00PM
- KE722 / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Incheon / 9:15AM – 11:05AM
- KE2118 / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Gimpo / 11:55AM – 1:50PM
- KE724 / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Incheon / 11:55PM – 2:00PM
- KE728* / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Incheon / 2:00PM – 3:55PM
- KE726 / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Incheon / 6:10PM – 8:15PM
- KE2120 / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Gimpo / 7:55PM – 9:45PM

The new rotation will be operated using a mix of Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft.
In addition to Korean Air, Asiana Airlines also connects Osaka Kansai with both Seoul Icheon and Gimpo. Additionally, Peach, as well as a number of South Korean low-costs including Air Busan, Air Seoul, Jeju Air, Jin Air, Eastar jet, and T’Way fly between Seoul Incheon and Kansai Airport. In total, there are over 30 daily flights between the two cities.
