Korean Air to add extra daily Seoul – Osaka rotation in September and October 2024

Korean Air will operate the new rotation using the A321neo.

From September 2, 2024, until the end of the 2024 summer schedule (October 26, 2024), Korean Air will add an extra daily flight between Seoul Incheon and Osaka Kansai. During that period, the airline will offer six daily rotations between Seoul and Osaka Kansai including four from Incheon and two from Gimpo.

The flights from Seoul to Osaka will operate as follows:

  • KE8727* / Seoul Incheon – Osaka Kansai / 6:50AM – 8:45AM
  • KE2117 / Seoul Gimpo – Osaka Kansai / 9:00AM – 10:45AM
  • KE723 / Seoul Incheon – Osaka Kansai / 9:35AM – 11:20AM
  • KE725 / Seoul Incheon – Osaka Kansai / 3:15PM – 5:15PM
  • KE2119 / Seoul Gimpo – Osaka Kansai / 4:30PM – 6:25PM
  • KE721 / Seoul Incheon – Osaka Kansai / 7:05PM – 9:05PM

In the other direction, the schedule will be as follows:

  • KE722 / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Incheon / 9:15AM – 11:05AM
  • KE8728* / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Incheon / 9:45AM – 11:35AM
  • KE2118 / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Gimpo / 11:55AM – 1:50PM
  • KE724 / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Incheon / 12:35PM – 2:25PM
  • KE726 / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Incheon / 6:25PM – 8:15PM
  • KE2120 / Osaka Kansai – Seoul Gimpo / 7:35PM – 9:25PM

* New seasonal rotation operated between September 2, 2024, and October 26, 2024.

The flights from Gimpo, as well as the new rotation from Incheon will be operated by Airbus A321neos with 182 seats including eight in business and 174 in economy class. Flights KE721/KE722 will be operated using Boeing 737-8 aircraft while the two remaining rotations will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A330-300 aircraft respectively.

In total, there are over 30 daily flights between Osaka and Seoul. In addition to Korean Air, Asiana Airlines also offers flights from both Gimpo and Incheon. Low-costs from both countries including Air Busan, Air Seoul, Jeju Air, Jin Air, Eastar jet, and T’Way from Korea and Peach from Japan connect Kansai with Incheon.
