During the 2025 summer schedule, Korean Air plans to use its Boeing 737-8s on the Okayama route.

Starting from October 27, 2024, Korean Air will decrease the frequency of its Seoul Incheon – Okayama flights from the current five weekly to four. It then plans to increase the frequency to daily once the summer schedule sets in at the end of March 2025.

During the winter schedule, from October 27, 2024, until March 29, 2024, the route will not operate on Saturdays. It will operate as follows:

  • KE771 / Seoul Incheon – Okayama / 8:00AM – 9:30AM / Tue, Wed, Fri, Sun
  • KE772 / Okayama – Seoul Incheon / 10:30AM – 12:30PM / Tue, Wed, Fri, Sun

From March 30, 2025, onward, the route will operate daily with slightly changed departure and arrival times:

  • KE771 / Seoul Incheon – Okayama / 7:30AM – 9:00AM
  • KE772 / Okayama – Seoul Incheon / 10:30AM – 12:00PM

Currently, the route is operated mainly by Boeing 737-900 aircraft with 188 seats including 8 in business and 180 in economy class. During the winter scheduled, it is scheduled to be operated by Airbus A321neo aircraft with 182 seats including eight in business and 174 in economy class. During the 2025 summer schedule it is scheduled to be operated using Boeing 737-8 aircraft with 146 or 158 seats including eight in business and 138 or 150 in economy class.

Korean Air is the only airline flying between Okayama and Seoul, as well as South Korea in general. The route was resumed in late October 2023 and increased from three to five weekly rotations on August 3, 2024. In July 2024, Okayama Prefecture and Incheon Airport partnered on promoting the use of the route.
