Korean Air resumed scheduled flights between Jeju and Tokyo Narita after over a four-and-a-half-year pause caused by deteriorated relations between South Korea and Japan, as well as the pandemic.

Going forward, the flights will operate three times a week as follows:

  • KE2125 / Jeju – Tokyo Narita / 1:05PM – 3:35PM / Wed, Fri, Sun
  • KE2126 / Tokyo Narita – Jeju / 4:35PM – 7:25PM / Wed, Fri, Sun

The first flight is currently on its way to Tokyo Narita and is operated by a Boeing 737-900ER registered HL8248. Korean Air plans to continue using the same type, which is equipped with 173 seats including eight in business and 165 in economy class, on the route going forward as well.

Jeju is the second airport in South Korea to have non-stop Korean Air service to Tokyo Narita. The airline also connects Seoul Incheon with Narita four times a day and plans to soon debut its 787-10 with brand new business class on one of the rotations.

With this launch, Tokyo Narita became the second airport in Japan to have non-stop service to Jeju. Osaka Kansai, with its daily T’Way flights, is the only other such airport.
