Jeju Air to increase Seoul Incheon – Matsuyama to double daily from October 2024

Jeju Air serves Matsuyama using the 737-800.

Jeju Air will increase its service between Seoul Incheon and Matsuyama from the current 12 weekly to double daily from the start of the 2024 winter schedule (i.e., October 27, 2024).

It will do so by increasing its morning rotation from the current five weekly (every day excluding Mondays and Sundays) to daily. The rotation will operate alongside its daily afternoon rotation as follows:

  • 7C1771 / Seoul Incheon – Matsuyama / 7:00AM – 8:40AM
  • 7C1703 / Seoul Incheon – Matsuyama / 1:05PM – 2:40PM
  • 7C1771 / Matsuyama – Seoul Incheon / 9:40AM – 11:15AM
  • 7C1704 / Matsuyama – Seoul Incheon / 3:40PM – 5:35PM

Note: Currently, the flights operate using the same flight numbers in reversed order, i.e., even flight numbers in the direction from Seoul and odd flight numbers in the direction from Matsuyama.

Jeju Air uses Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 189 seats, all in economy class on the route.

It is the only airline offering non-stop Matsuyama – Seoul flights and one of the two airlines connecting the Japanese airport with South Korea. Air Busan offers three weekly flights from Busan, which it plans to increase to five weekly from October 27, 2024. With that, there will be combined 19 weekly flights between Matsuyama and South Korea.
