Hong Kong Airlines to increase Hong Kong – Tokyo Narita to five daily from Dec. 2024

Hong Kong Airlines A320
Hong Kong Airlines currently serves Tokyo Narita four times a day.

Starting from December 1, 2024, Hong Kong Airlines will increase the frequency of its Hong Kong – Tokyo Narita flights from the current four daily to five daily. The extra daily flight is, for the time being, available for booking until March 29, 2025, i.e., the end of the winter schedule.

With the increase, the airline will offer the following options for travel between the two cities:

  • HX606 / Hong Kong – Tokyo Narita / 2:20AM – 7:35AM
  • HX604 / Hong Kong – Tokyo Narita / 8:05AM – 1:00PM
  • HX608 / Hong Kong – Tokyo Narita / 9:15AM – 2:30PM
  • HX6341 / Hong Kong – Tokyo Narita / 11:10AM – 4:30PM
  • HX610 / Hong Kong – Tokyo Narita / 2:55PM – 8:05PM
  • HX607 / Tokyo Narita – Hong Kong / 9:05AM – 1:35PM
  • HX605 / Tokyo Narita – Hong Kong / 2:00PM – 6:20PM
  • HX609 / Tokyo Narita – Hong Kong / 3:30PM – 7:55PM
  • HX6351 / Tokyo Narita – Hong Kong / 5:30PM – 10:05PM
  • HX611 / Tokyo Narita – Hong Kong / 9:05PM – 1:25AM+1

1 Rotation to be added from December 1, 2024.

The upcoming increase follows an increase made at the end of March 2024 from three to the current four daily rotations.

Hong Kong Airlines will operate the new HX634/HX635 rotation, like its existing HX604/HX605 and HX606/607 rotations, using Airbus A320-200 aircraft. It will continue to operate the two remaining rotations, HX608/HX609 and HX610/HX611, using Airbus A330s.

The market is also served by ANA, JAL, Cathay Pacific, HK Express, and Greater Bay Airlines. The first four of those connect Hong Kong with both Tokyo Narita and Haneda while Greater Bay Airlines only serves Narita.
