From today, March 25, 2024, Hong Kong Airlines increased the frequency of its Hong Kong – Kumamoto route from three to four weekly rotations. Tokyo Narita will see an increase too, going from three to four daily rotations from March 31, 2024.

  • HX687 / Kumamoto – Hong Kong / 4:40PM – 7:25PM / Mon*, Tue, Thu, Sat

* Frequency added from March 25, 2024.

Hong Kong Airlines uses its A320-200s on the route and is the only airline connecting the two cities.

As for the Tokyo Narita route, Hong Kong Airlines will add an early morning flight from Hong Kong and will operate four daily flights in that direction as follows:

Hong Kong Airlines competes with Cathay Pacific, JAL, and HK Express on the route. The same three airlines, as well as ANA, also fly to Hong Kong from Tokyo Haneda Airport.
