JAL partnered with Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu, which is directly connected to Tokyo Haneda Airport’s Terminal 2, to create “JAL Cockpit ROOM.” The room became available for booking on March 6, 2024, for stays starting on March 16, 2024.
The centerpiece of the 28-square meter thematic room will be a cockpit mock-up made in collaboration with JAL’s cockpit crew members, which will, among other things, include real cockpit seats from a Boeing 767-300 and be partially equipped with real instruments retired from use. Additionally, aircraft photo panels will decorate the room.
This collaboration follows JAL’s collaboration with Hotel Villa Fontaine announced earlier this year, where 24 JAL-themed rooms were set up in celebration of the airline’s 70th anniversary of international operations.
