On January 12, 2024, JAL and Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport announced that a part of the hotel would become JAL-themed to commemorate the airline’s 70th anniversary of international operations. In addition to theming in some of the hotel’s public areas, 24 JAL-themed rooms (the number of JAL’s international destinations) were opened for reservation on January 13, 2024.
