China Eastern will operate the Yantai – Fukuoka route using Airbus A320s.

China Eastern Airlines will launch flights between Yantai and Fukuoka on December 7, 2024. The route will operate three times a week as follows:

  • MU879 / Yantai – Fukuoka / 10:35AM – 1:30PM / Mon, Wed, Sat
  • MU880 / Fukuoka – Yantai / 2:30PM – 4:00PM / Mon, Wed, Sat

The airline will use Airbus A320 aircraft on the route. It operates both the A320-200 and A320neo with 156 seats on board including eight in business and 148 in economy class.

Currently, there are no non-stop flights between Fukuoka and Yantai. That said, until early 2020, China United Airlines operated the route four times a week.

Yantai, a city in Shandong Province of China, will be the second airport from which China Eastern will serve Fukuoka. The airline already operates three daily flights from Shanghai Pudong.
