China Airlines to increase Kaohsiung – Tokyo Narita from early February 2025

China Airlines operates the rotation to be increased using Boeing 737-800s.

Starting from February 4, 2025, China Airlines will increase the frequency of its flights between Kaohsiung and Tokyo Narita from the current 10 weekly flights to 12. The airline will do so by operating its rotation departing Kaohsiung in the afternoon on Tuesdays and Saturdays in addition to the current three days of the week and connect the two cities as follows:

  • CI102 / Kaohsiung – Tokyo Narita / 8:00AM – 12:15PM
  • CI126 / Kaohsiung – Tokyo Narita / 1:10PM – 5:25PM1 / Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun
  • CI127 / Tokyo Narita – Kaohsiung / 6:25PM – 9:55PM1 / Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun
  • CI103 / Tokyo Narita – Kaohsiung / 1:15PM – 4:45PM

1 Scheduled to depart and arrive one hour later on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The afternoon rotation, which was first added in April 2024, will continue to be operated using Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 158 or 161 seats depending on the configuration, including eight in business class. The daily rotation will continue to be operated using Airbus A321neos with 180 seats including 12 in business and 168 in economy class.

In addition to China Airlines, EVA Air, Tigerair, and Thai AirAsia fly between Tokyo Narita and Kaohsiung. China Airlines also serves Tokyo Narita from Taipei Taoyuan and Tokyo Haneda from Taipei Songshan multiple times a day.
