Batik Air Malaysia to operate Hiroshima – Singapore charter for 2024/2025 New Year tour

Batik Air Malaysia
Batik Air Malaysia will use either Boeing 737-800 or 737-8 aircraft on the flights.

Batik Air Malaysia will operate a charter roundtrip between Hiroshima and Singapore on behalf of the Japanese tour operator H.I.S.

While the exact schedule is yet to be determined, the outbound flight will depart Hiroshima between 12 and 2 p.m. and arrive in Singapore between 5:35 and 7:35 p.m. on December 30, 2024. The inbound flight will depart Singapore on January 3, 2025, between 3:40 and 5:40 a.m. and arrive in Hiroshima between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. the same day. Details of the ferry flights are unknown.

It is not clear which aircraft type Batik Air Malaysia will use on the flights. In addition to Airbus A330s which are not likely to be used on the route, it operates Boeing 737-800s and 737-8s in a layout with 162 seats including 12 in business and 150 in economy. It also operates the latter in a 180-seat, single-class layout.

There are no regular scheduled flights between Hiroshima and Singapore. The only route between the Japanese airport and Southeast Asia is VietJet’s twice weekly service from Hanoi.
